CALL FOR 2022 PAPJA VIRTUAL WORKSHOP FACILITATORS
We are inviting professionals who are ACTIVE MEMBERS of PAP to participate as a Workshop Facilitator for the 35 th Annual Convention of the Psychological Association of the Philippines – Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) on March 11-12, 2022 with the theme “Recalibrating Philippine Psychology Towards a More Responsive Discipline in the Challenging Times”.
Workshops are an integral part of the PAPJA Convention and seek to offer students from different parts of the country an opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge they may otherwise not learn in the classroom. We seek to offer 10-15 simultaneous workshops this year.
Workshops are intended to develop specific knowledge and skills or competencies in a particular area of practice in psychology. It is a combination of interactive presentations and demonstrations, simulations, and discussions. It is not meant to be a lecture or a sharing of research endeavor. Workshops would be held on March 11, 1:30-4:30 pm and March 12, 8:30-11:30 am. Facilitators should expect a maximum of 300 participants per session. Each workshop will run for three hours with a short break in between. Each PAPJA participant will be able to choose and attend two workshop sessions.
All workshop applications will be evaluated and screened by the PAPJA Scientific Committee suing the following criteria:
